I selected youtube.com to explore from the list of Web 2.0 nominees. I really enjoy this site because it has a great variety of videos. Many of the videos are very informative and best of all it is FREE!!. Also, I like this site because anyone is able to post a video.I would be able to use YouTube in my classroom for many things. Since I will be teaching bioligy, I could show my students animated videos of microscopic things that would be easier to understand if they are able to see it done visually...mitiosis for example--http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-G-3BDlnK58.

I completely agree! Many students are visual learners and respond better to images than words. You will definately be the cool teacher with a youtube account!
